The Battle of Calim VI

Following false leads about the apprehension of ESS Grand Executor Mryna qhalic, defected Supreme Commander Darron Larcoon meets intends to rendezvous with the bounty hunter who claims to have captured Qhalic. In fact, it is a carefully laid-out ruse, instigated by Qhalic herself, to retrieve the defected Admiral. In fact, both sides suspect a double cross and have backup fleets on standby. As the situation escalates both fleets jump into the system and go at each other with full force. In the ensueing battle the Imperial Star Destroyer Subjugator and Qhalic's private cruiser, the Seraphim both take heavy damage in a close distance duel. With the rest of the ESS battlegroup destroyed or disabled and the Revan stranded the Empire seizes its chance and moves out to capture the downed ship and as many of its crew as possible.

However the events of Calim have not gone unnoticed: A New Republic fleet under the command of Han Solo moves in to aid the downed ESS forces, literally violating the unstable treaties between the NR and their old enemy. With more ESS forces entering the sector the Attack force draws back to Calim VI to support their damaged brothers and hold their ground.

The Battle of Roche 14 (Open War II)

The great Battle of Calim VI (Open War II)

A name well deserved. Probably the largest battles in the galaxies history erupted when the ESS directed its full attention towards the Calim System. Devided as they were ESS forces fought each other - one group led by the resurrected Emperor Vince Trageton - the other under control of the seemingly insane Sith Lady Darth Pyra. In a desperate act of diplomacy the resurrected Emperor convinces all forces present - Imperials, New Republic, Empire of the Wolf and more to unite and stand against the approaching ESS armada. With numerous ships of battlecruiser or even dreadnought size present plus their countless cruisers and destroyers the battle burst any scale known. In the end though the battle should be decided on a small scale, as a small strike team led by Trageton himself boarded the ESS flagship Dominance and confronted Darth Pyra in person. ONce the Sith Lady was defeated Vince revealed his identity to the renegade ESS forces and commanded his ships to stand down.
